Is LAD Social a bad agency? Why are you comparing yourself to them?
No. By their own website they've been going since 2008, with offices in Rockhampton and the Sunshine Coast and an in-house production crew. This page exists because business owners compare us, and they deserve a clear breakdown rather than each business only talking about itself. I'll point out where LAD is the better fit just as readily as where I am.
When is LAD Social the better choice?
If you want a video shoot, a visual rebrand, VFX, 3D visualisation or glossy social content, and you want a team with in-house production, LAD lists all of that on its site and I don't offer most of it. I'm a one-person business. My focus is Meta Ads, Google Ads, websites and content that supports them.
When is Michael Evans Media the better choice?
If you want public pricing so you can see what it costs before you talk to anyone. If you want to deal directly with the person doing the work. If your priority is leads, DMs and bookings over visual polish. If you want no lock-in contract. Those are my angles.
How do you actually know what LAD Social charges?
I don't, and I don't claim to. I couldn't find prices on their website when I checked on 1 October 2026. You can check for yourself at ladsocial.com.au.
What if I want to talk to both before deciding?
Smart move. Get quotes from both. Ask each: 1) What are your prices? 2) Who will actually do the work? 3) Is there a lock-in contract? 4) Can I see results from real clients? The answers will narrow your shortlist quickly. I'm not threatened by you talking to LAD or anyone else.
Do you have any relationship with LAD Social?
